우크라이나反腐最強? Національне антикорупційне бюро України та Спеціалізована антикорупційна прокуратура conducted searches and notified five participants of suspicion in the “Carthage” operation. The investigation alleges that officials from the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the Office of the Prosecutor General provided improper benefits to organized crime in exchange for enabling fraud call centres, drug trafficking, counterfeit cigarettes, currency counterfeiting and other illegal activity. Serhii Duka, a senior SBU official, was detained after a confrontation during a search.
