핀란드·노르웨이oli leaders, Russia’s Putin discuss Ukraine war and Abu Dhabi talks
27 October, Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre held a roughly 90-minute telephone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The leaders conveyed messages connected to planned Ukraine-US-Russia talks in Abu Dhabi, called for real de-escalation steps for Ukraine’s energy and infrastructure, and briefed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy afterward. The initiative drew criticism that it had not been coordinated with other EU governments.
